Background: Pregnant women's knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding COVID-19 pandemic are crucial to ensure a safe pregnancy outcome. Aim: Assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices among pregnant women concerning the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study. Study subjects: a convenience sample of 323 pregnant patients who seeking care at Mansoura University Hospitals' obstetric and gynecological specialty center. Data collection tools: Four tools were employed, which includes: Tool I: A structured interview questionnaire for obstetric and demographic data, Using Tools II, III, and IV, to assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices of pregnant women towards COVID-19. Results: Almost half of the pregnant women in the study had good knowledge of and an uncertain attitude regarding the worldwide pandemic, although approximately two thirds of them exhibited good practices about COVID-19 preventive measures. Furthermore, there was a positive correlation between the total knowledge, attitudes, and practices scores among pregnant women. Conclusion: While most pregnant women had an uncertain attitude toward the COVID-19 pandemic, they had good knowledge and practices toward this pandemic. Recommendations: Antenatal education programs should be put in place in order to improve pregnant women's knowledge, beliefs, and practices around COVID-19 or any pandemic.
